Can a wall increase in value? You will answer yes, if you have invested well in real estate, then yes. Can what is hanging on the wall also increase in value? And here the answer is the same, if you buy something wisely, then yes. Nothing is impossible. If someone tells me that something is impossible, I will remind them of the day when I planned the Damien Hirst exhibition in my art gallery. You know, the author of the most expensive work of art sold by a living artist, whose works sell for millions, in my gallery? And yet. Damien Hirst does not forget about ordinary people. Together with the Prada and Heni Foundation, in 2020 he offered a series of giclees on aluminum, with his signature. They are sought-after and we also have these works on the walls in the gallery. In addition, they are accompanied by cards, unique, with which in 2011 his works were auctioned at Sotherby's. Only 220 sets of these cards were prepared. They are made on very thick 550 g paper of high quality printing and cut to the shape of the works presented. We also have a panel of wallpaper that was part of the one that covered the walls of Tate Modern in 2012 at the Damien Hirst solo exhibition. After the exhibition, it was removed and cut into panels that can be collected. Yes, because all these objects, like the Coca Cola cans signed by Damien Hirst, are valuable, collectible items. That is why they increase in value every day, hanging on the walls. Even if they are hidden in the wardrobe, their value increases. It does not matter how you put them behind the sofa as well. Hence the success of our exhibition, warmly received by the Spanish audience and the crowd of expats who live in Valencia temporarily or permanently. The last days, the last meetings with collectors, so that our works can find a new home.
