In connection with the fires in Los Angeles, we decided to join the aid. Part of our income will go to help the community of artists affected by the Los Angeles fires. The fire in LA is a great tragedy that reveals the savagery and cruelty of the contemporary aid system in the Western world. It also shows the true face of ordinary people, united and organizing in the drama to help. What made many, even ordinary people, very rich, thanks to the increase in the value of their property, the same thing dragged them down, making insurance so expensive that it was finally unavailable to most LA residents. Now they are left with a pile of ashes. In this ashes there are also great works of art, the less expensive ones, collections often passed down from generation to generation. Los Angeles has lost a great cultural heritage, and it is irrevocable. I know that most private collections are not available to the public, but still circulating in the exhibition and art market, they enriched our cultural heritage in an invaluable way. But that is gone. It is gone. Los Angeles is mourning more mundane losses, but while the rebuilding will take months, the trauma years, there is a chance to return to reality. At the same time, the losses of burned works of art are already irretrievable. It's not much, but our gallery will donate a portion of its profit to help the art community affected by the Los Angeles fires. Slawek Stawarczyk
